Hello Shengyang, it depends on what you want to do? If you don't know right now that's okay. Experience of any kind can always be good and depend on how you phrase it. Putting cashier at milk tea store doesn't sound as exciting as consumer product consultant. A resume is not what get's you a job, it's only get's you in the door. Title's are also awesome! Being a manager there would be so amazing for a resume as you prove responsibility, leadership, trust, etc so strive excellence in everything you do! If you are a milk tea server be the best darn milk tea server you can be and develop and epic work ethic as you will always out perform others and be promoted faster if you care about every tea you serve more than the girl that only cares about when her shift ends.

Florence’s Answer

Hello Shengyang, any customer-service based job is relevant in ANY field. In a milk tea shop, I imagine that you will deal with a lot of customization, multi-tasking, you get experience with a POS system, perhaps manage or contribute to their social media, triage any complaints, troubleshoot when machinery breaks down, manage inventory, etc! Any good hiring employer will value behavioral skillset just as much as professional experience. We all have to start somewhere, but I can agree that all my part-time retail jobs in high school and college have contributed to my customer-service knowledge in my career.
