Stacey’s Answer

Hi Tabias! Check out job sites like GlassDoor.com for a good read on what designers make in your area. Salaries change depending on the region and are often higher in large cities where the cost of living is also higher. Hope this helps!

Gwendolyn’s Answer

Hi Tabias,

The Creative Group produces a very comprehensive salary guide of creative careers each year. You can check it out here: https://www.roberthalf.com/creativegroup/salary-center-for-creative-and-marketing-professionals.

Best of luck to you.

Thank you comment icon Hi Tabias, I agree with Gwendolyn Mumford. The Creative Group is a good place to start. As well, look into Glassdoor and check out some of the companies your might want to work for in the future. Most of their employees post their salaries. Graphic Design is a great industry to get into and there are a number of specific industries within graphic design. Good luck! JayV Javaris Stevenson

Cuong’s Answer

Hey Tabias,

This is very big general question that has many answers to it. Salary pay and minimum wages varies on location. Obviously, living in big cities is expensive, so the it may be higher than smaller cities and other states. For instance, I live in San Francisco, being a Graphic Designer starting salary could be $65,000 - $70,000 while being a UI/UX Designer could range starting from $80,000-100,000. But in like Texas, a graphic designer might be lower than the salary pay in San Francisco.
