However, if there are some personal concerns and issues that you feel are holding you back, you might seek counsel from an appropriate professional.


For example, when I was running a re-employment program for people who had been laid off from their jobs, many were suffering from such problems as depression caused by loss of identity and loss of importance and loss of direction. This greatly interfered with their ability to pursue further employment until is was successfully dealt with. After it was properly dealt with and managed, they were able to pursue a very happy, healthy, and productive pursuit of another position and succeed.


Every person is an individual. Every person at one time or another requires some type of assistance. The most important thing to do (and sometimes the hardest) is to seek appropriate help. However, when one does, he/she tends to be amazed at the number of people willing and waiting and able to help.


Be true to yourself and seek proper help if necessary. Then your path will become clearer and easier follow.
