Hi Leo,
Be proactive! Seek out mentors and act on advice they give you. In order to go far professionally you should be the one that raises your hand to get involved in things that are outside of the typical day to day of your job. The more people you meet in the company you work at or on the campus you go to school the more opportunities you will have! Being someone others can rely on that will show up when you make a commitment is a must and participating while others stay silent in a meeting can also give you the edge. Good luck to you!

Hello Leo, thank you for your question. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to move forward as long as you stay the course. There are things you can do to help yourself get ahead be proactive if there are classes you can take or martials you can purchase then do that. Also, if you have a support group that can help through the rough times lean on them it's more helpful than you realize. Lastly don't focus on where other people are just try an stay focused on you, life happens and there is nothing wrong with take time to deal with issues going on in your life. Best of luck
