Mary June’s Answer

Some days are more interestinng than others. Sometimes your patients cooperate, sometimes they need a lot of encouragement. Depending on the setting / type of healthcare job you will work in, you would need to be more alert and prepared to keep the patients safe.

Randy’s Answer

In the very unpredictable field of EMS, almost every turn is a surprise. You can have patients that go from healthy and stable to unstable in a matter of seconds, but it always seems like that more you lean on your training, the less you have to think about it. It's a very fulfilling and exciting career field to be entering. I would be lying if I said it wasn't the most challenging job that I have had, but definitely the most rewarding.

On top of it, there are so many things in the streets that can be dangerous, as long as you're safe out there it's no problem.

Nick’s Answer

Lots of attention to detail, the ability to pivot when a new problem has to be solved. Days are busy and go by fast. Many people need and deserve quality care, but it is very rewarding.
