How many years do i need to go to school for a CDL

How many years do i need to go to school to get my trucking license? Do I need to go to a community college or can I take the class online? Also, What would the cost be for this?

I would do some research because each school is going to have a different length of attendance but it can take anywhere from 2 months to 6 months give or take, depending on the school I believe.
