When is the best time to start entering applications for college and how do you choose which colleges to apply for?

Typically students start researching and applying in their Junior year of High School. I would recommend going to a college fair in your area! This is a great way to get more information on different colleges and universities. You can also narrow it down by location that you are interested in, school size, programs that they offer, etc. and do some research online for ones that interest you. Once you've narrowed it down I highly advise going to tour the school. That gives you a better picture of what to expect.
