What is the easiest number to count by if you are a pharmacist ?

Count by 5’s. Anything less is awkward, anything more makes it easy to miscount.

Pharmacists and technicians count by fives. Often the number of doses dispensed to our patients are divisible by 5, such as 90 tablets, or 180 capsules.
If another dosage form, such as packets, is dispensed, you may count by single dosage units.
