what did you do after highschool?

what did you do after highschool and how did you go about it, do you think you made the right choices and if you went to college how many times did you switch your major.

Hi Cody - I went to a 4year college in-state and dormed at the school. I think I made the right choice b/c I actually liked school and learning and felt that it would help me later on in the work force. I'm not sure I would have picked the same school today as I think i would have wanted a bigger school and warmer climate 😊. My college had this cool major that combined math and business - 2 things I really liked so I didn't switch majors but I have friends who did and actually even today I have friends switching careers (business to education, education to medical) etc. Nothing is hardwired and it's ok not to know exactly what you want / want to do. Talk to people - everywhere - at the gym, store, do research too.

I went to college and majored in Economics...minored in Marketing. I wasn't that crazy about Economics. Actually my mom chose my major. I loved Marketing. I honestly didn't know what I wanted to major in. It's a lot of pressure when you think about committing to a major. Just keep in mind that you can still find a job outside of your major. Also, you can still find jobs if you choose an option other than college. Investigate your options. When I look for things to get involved in next, I look for how can this opportunity impact me and how can I impact it. What can I receive and what can I give?
