Why do freshman pay parking fees if we cant have a car?

if i dont have a car as a first year why would i pay a parking fee. #college #parking

Typically it is not just a "parking fee." A lot of time it is a transportation services fee. This can include things like parking, buses, and maintenance and development of routes, parking areas, maps, apps, etc. You are not alone in asking this question, but you are at the very least supporting your school.
