Work on projects in your field, try for internship in companies. Talk to your professor about the practical application of your subject. Read articles on the same. Ensure that you get as much experience as you can during college through volunteer opportunities, internships and jobs - preferably within the field that you want to work. Ultimately, you just want to show that you’ve begun applying the skills that you are being taught, along with beginning to expose yourself to the workforce.
