Physician Assistant is a third career for me. I was the average age of my classmates, 38, when I attended the Stanford Primary Care Associate Program . Best decision ive ever made! Now 20+ years later I continue to be challenged and delighted with the profession.

I worked for 13 years in congenital cardiac surgery, general surgery and bariatric surgery. Then, I branched out, accepting temporary assignments all over California: trauma service, HIV care, primary care, wound care and general surgery. Anyone contemplating a PA career, i salute you!
