• Take a career assessment and check out other careers that fall into your choices; check out the Beautician License; Volunteer or get a job in a medical hospital or clinic so you are familiar with what goes on each day; if going into business take some business classes to help you run your business, such as accounting, business law, computer programming, and management. Before you open your own salon take these classes that I just suggested and it will make you a better manager and business owner.
