Considering the Finance bachelor’s degree and subsequent master’s in hospital administration appears to be an excellent career progression plan.
However, some individuals initiate their job search by applying for part-time administrative positions with only a high school diploma.

I have observed prominent medical institutions mandating a high school diploma as a minimum requirement for administrative roles, along with providing on-the-job training.
While employed part-time, these individuals pursue additional degrees in hospital administration and actively work towards enhancing their career prospects.

Hey Riley! So, you’re on your way to being a hospital admin superhero, huh? 🦸‍♂️💼 Nice! The journey to hospital administration is like the perfect mix of business smarts and healthcare knowledge. Here’s a roadmap that’ll have you taking charge in no time!

Starting with a Bachelor’s in Finance? Solid move. Finance is like the secret sauce of hospital admin. You’ll understand money, budgeting, and how to make sure the hospital doesn't end up bankrupt because someone forgot to pay for paper towels. 🧻💸

After your bachelor’s, heading for a Master's in Healthcare Administration (MHA) is the next step. That's where you’ll get the real nitty-gritty on running a hospital—everything from managing staff to ensuring the place runs as smoothly as a well-oiled machine. 🏥✨

As for schools, I’d say FSU is a great place to start, especially with your finance background. Just make sure you look for internships or volunteer opportunities in hospitals during school. That’s where you’ll pick up the real-world skills like problem-solving on the fly, managing hospital chaos, and figuring out how to make healthcare work without losing your sanity.

The path may get a bit tricky at times—think long hours, stressful decisions, and maybe the occasional forgotten lunch. But hey, you’re essentially going to be the one that keeps everything running smoothly, so just remember: you’ve got the brains, you’ve got the hustle, and you’re going to crush it!

Keep that humor and ambition alive—because when things get hectic (and they will), a little laugh is all you need to keep your cool.

Good luck, future hospital admin rockstar! 🌟
