How can I improve my chances of getting internships while in school? I'm about to finish my freshman year and want better chances of getting hired in sustainability when I graduate!

Hey Kaylie,
The best advice I can give is to go to your campus or college career service center and speak with the person that hands career connections. They often have a number of different recruiters from various companies that you can get in contact with and see what opportunities are out there. This office is a great resource for doing resume touch ups, having mock interviews, etc to do your best when the time comes to actually apply for interviews. Another thing is to do some research for companies you are interested in and see if you can find a college recruiter on LinkedIn from those companies and set some time to chat or message about what opportunities they have if you can find an internship offered on their website.
