What are the steps to specializing in something related to hair?
I'd like to be a blonding and extension specialist and I am curious if there are extra classes you take after cosmetology school or if it's just pure experience

Hello again, Ava !
You are interested in two really cool specialties for hair care !
Extensions and blonding are usually taught in cosmetology school, so you're good to go ! You'll learn all the various types of extensions. You'd also learn blonding and other hair coloring techniques.
While you are in school for this career, keep informed of any special trainings, conferences and other events to attend. Even though you want to be a specialist for two awesome aspects of this field, remember, you're going to want lots of customers, so be that specialist, but always be open to doing everything. You'll have a lot more customers that way.
I hope this helps and I wish you all the best !
