As someone who considered going to dental school and that did an internship in college, I love this question! First, you'd need to decide if there was a specialty in the field of dentistry that you'd want to work in. General dentistry, pediatrics, or periodontics...that's where I'd start. Then, I'd consider the location for the business based on the community I wanted to serve. Do you want to practice in an urban or more rural area? Lastly, that dream job could be affiliated with a big group, or you may want to be in private practice. At any rate, dentistry is a great field that not only helps keep people's smiles healthy, but dentists can also uncover other pending diseases from taking care of their patient's oral health.
