How did you overcome a raging procrastination habit?
After covid, procrastination became my best friend and I have yet to overcome it. I'm trying to get rid of it before I got off to college. Any tips?

Aniah,
A simple answer from a 75-year old.
When it comes time for you to live on your own and pay for food, clothing and shelter you will rather quickly snap out of your tendency to procrastinate. Unfortunately, money is a necessity in today's civilized world. Its lack often means tough going. Having popcorn for supper gets old rather quickly.
Good fortune to you.

Hi Aniah, I totally get how frustrating procrastination can be! I've been there too. One trick that really helped me is the "five-minute start method." Just tell yourself you'll work on something for five minutes. Once you start, it's easier to keep going. Try breaking big tasks into smaller parts and give yourself a little break after finishing each one. It's like turning work into a fun game!
