Let's say a person has fallen behind in a few classes and tests are coming up/the due dates for assignments are drawing near, what would be the best way to go about the situation? It would not necessarily be an advanced learning and apprehension since it would be within a short amount of time but more so to the extent of passing and perhaps a little further if able. How might that person deal with catching up in an efficient way and what choices or alternatives should that person consider in order to reduce the possibility of the same occurrence happening again?

In a more simplistic statement, how does an individual deal with extensive procrastination?

How can I stop procrastinating and stay on top of my work while studying to become a pediatric nurse I know nursing school comes with a heavy workload, and I want to develop better time management skills now instead of constantly cramming at the last minute. Are there any strategies or habits that have actually worked for other students or professionals in high-pressure fields??

I’m a freshman in college finishing my second semester. For as long as I can remember, I’ve struggled with procrastination. No matter how much time I have, I always end up waiting until the last minute—if something is due on Sunday, I won’t start until 6 PM that day. I’ve tried different strategies, like locking my phone away or listening to classical music to help me focus, but nothing ever seems to stick. I really want to break this habit before I get into the nursing program because I know I won’t have time to procrastinate once I’m there. If there’s anything that has truly worked for others, I would really appreciate the advice.

How to deal with being overwhelmed and procrastination in University ?

Hi, I'm a university student, currently taking foundation courses. All my coursework are assignments and essays based. I find that when I think of an assignment that I have to do, I think that the assignment is too difficult and that it will take hours for me to complete it. When I finally get the courage to sit down and do it (usually assisted with a friend or because the deadline is literally in an hour or in minutes), I realize it's not that bad, sometimes I even enjoy it. I just want to learn how to get over that hurdle of being overwhelmed and to cease the thoughts that make the coursework bigger than it actually is.
