How do I plan out the strategy for my college courses?
I'm starting college in attempts to get out of the financial struggle my family's endured and start a life for myself. To start, I was planning on going for dental hygienist, with the goal of looking forward to dermatology/veternarian/marine biologist. I have time to decide which career to achieve during the time I spend going through dental hygiene, but I'm wondering how I can save time by taking the classes they all might have in common. I'm thinking a bachelor in biology might be beneficial and something I can do while doing dental. What do you guys think of this?

Do you have to transfer your associate's degree to your bachelors?
Hi, I am currently a rising junior who is taking dual enrollment classes in psychology. I was wondering that when I go to university do they take away my associates degree if they transfer the credits to my bachelors degree. I was wondering because If they didn't I could pursue a better-paying job with my associates degree rather than waiting till I get my bachelor's.

Not just academic requirements, but the general field of work and skills that come with them.

I'm going to be a senior in the fall and I think I want to go to school for occupational therapy assistant, then go on to get my masters.
How do I know if the major I would like to choose is truly right for me ?
Although I am pretty confident that this would be my field of interest, I am still unsure about finalizing my decision for a major. I am a high school Junior and want to be a Civil Engineer. I love Physics was nominated by my school for the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute medal, and ended up receiving the award. Besides my love for Physics, I love creating art. I have taught this subject at multiple organizations to kids in grades from first to sixth grade. I also practice Archery in my spare time and recently attended Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky. I would like to find aid in approaching resume writing and job applications so that I can gain more experience and figure out whether my chosen field is truly suited for me.

How could I possibly shadow or contribute to my mentoring?
I have found a mentor that is a professor and a social worker with her own practice. When we first met we discussed things I could do, such as research and just asking questions in general, one of her suggestions was to shadow, but we were both concerned about the ethical dilemmas that would form as I am a highschool student although I do dual psychology classes at college which technically made me a college student. Many college students shadow professionals in the mental health field because they are studying that field, would this make it more acceptable if I were to shadow my mentor while obviously following HIPAA laws, ethical concerns, and getting the patients okay.

Is it still possible to get into a top 20 school with a 3.8 gpa?
For context in 9th grade I got a 4.0 gpa and for this year I got a 3.6 gpa for semester 1 despite the fact I had a 4 for all my classes except for marketing. I got a 3.2 which is considered an A at my school. But because I enrolled into marketing class late which is not my fault at all my teacher decided to give me 0.25/0.50 credit even though I made up the past work. My counselor decided to change my class before the end of the semester which I was so confused about and I wasn’t allowed to change my class. The way my school calculates gpa is extremely weird and unfair. There’s no way I got a 3.6 gpa for the first semester that doesn’t seem right. I am in 10th grade.

I am planning to shift this semester.. I am a freshmen in BS Pharmacy and planning to shift to BS Psychology.. Due to grades and can't handle the pressure of the course. Although I am very much aware that being in medical field is very heavy. I also don't know what to do as my parents have high hopes in what course I am now, I don't know how to tell them that I failed the semester. Any advice about this? It would mean so much to me..
I am a freshman student at a university, studying BS Pharmacy, but due to one maybe two major, it landed me to a downfall. Also the thing is, my dad wanted the course BS Physical Therapy for me but I don't see myself in that. With that, we had a huge fight as he didn't see the potential of BS Pharmacy. How should I tell him that I failed to show myself that I can prove that BS Pharmacy was a right course.. Medical field courses, the one that I have been wishing since childhood. If not, then what??
