What's the best way to get started in learning about nonprofit management ?
I have a strong interest in becoming a librarian, and I especially love the community engagement aspect of the job, so my main goal right now is to pursue a Master's in Library and Information Science. However, I've been thinking a lot about my career plans for the distant future, and I think I would be interested in starting a nonprofit at some point. I've been casually browsing MBA programs, but it doesn't seem like many offer a specific concentration in the nonprofit sector. So, what kinds of courses should I look for after completing foundational courses, as someone who has never taken business classes? As I said, this is for the far future. I just started my first full-time job a few weeks ago, so I'm in no rush. I'm just charting the course a bit.

How can I maximize my time before college (especially during the summer)?
As a current senior that has applied to colleges and is waiting for decisions, what should be my priority now (besides maintaining grades, etc.)? I would like to start my own business in the future and I'm not sure if I should begin to invest my time in starting a small business/hustle or find something to potentially do in the summer. I wouldn't mind having a job; however, I'm not even sure how to really start in that area. I do not want to spend my time doing jobs where I earn money but don't gain practical skills/value. Overall, I want to start 2026 with clear goals for myself as I move to a life outside of my home. Any tips are appreciated. :)

What qualities or actions have you seen in past scholarship winners that truly set them apart?
I believe the qualities that set strong scholarship candidates apart are dedication, resilience, and a genuine desire to grow. The winners I look up to are the ones who don’t wait for opportunities—they create them through hard work and consistency, even when life throws challenges their way. They also stay connected to their communities, finding ways to give back and lift others up as they move forward. That’s the kind of student I strive to be: someone who keeps showing up, keeps improving, and uses every opportunity not just for myself, but to make a positive impact around me.

How can I make confident decisions about the career path I pursue now, ensuring that it aligns with my long-term passions while also providing financial stability in the future? #Fall25
I daresay identifying the most suitable career path for me is a rather difficult and complicated process. It is not just a matter of making the right choice for now, but rather the question of what will be the best for the long run. My goal is to pick an activity that I will really love doing but, on the other hand, it should also be a financially rewarding one so that I can afford my living expenses when I retire. A situation where I study one thing, and then later on, I find it is not the right thing for me would be quite discouraging. All that I need now is, some professional advice on how to, literally, take a peek into my future profession, weigh the pros and cons, and make a decision that I will not regret later.

I am interested in several fields, such as art, technology and education, but I don't know which one to choose as a career path. What should I do?

By asking this question, I can organize my interests, values, and goals, and gain advice or inspiration from others. It also helps me express my inner confusion, relieving me of the pressure of facing choices alone. Furthermore, this question can spark in-depth conversations, broadening my understanding of different career paths. Ultimately, I hope to find a direction that is both meaningful and something I'm passionate about.
