Career Advise?

Hello, my name is Santiago and I'm currently a Junior in HS. These are my grades: Math 2: 85 Sports and Event Marketing: 88 Ap Computer Science: 96 Found Prin USA&NC: Civics Literacy Honors: 81 Biology Honors:79 ESL III Part 2: 91 English II Honors: 75 Spanish III Honors: 95 GPA: 3.156 I would like to know if based on my grades I can have a successful career. I would like to go to college as well to get a degree in physical therapy. And specialize in physical therapy sports. I always tended to not turn in work on time or at all. And things haven't changed for me. I'm about to be 18 next week, I'm 5'8, and 130 pounds. I like going out with my friends because I get to express who I am freely, I enjoy quiet time, and playing sports. I get distracted in class a 4 out of 10, but I believe my downfall is that I don't feel any interest in doing homework assignments or I answer in a one-sentence format. I cannot communicate my ideas efficiently at all, and my vocabulary is very small which makes me feel very insecure as I'm a very social person but I cannot connect anymore, since my first language is Spanish and I've been learning English for two years. That's how long I've been in the States. Growing up I didn't have my mom or my dad overlooking my studies and I never found any interest in doing homework or learning any material. I now live with my dad here in the states and I've been under different circumstances to say some. My dad never stops rambling about me getting my mind and my priorities reset, and he's very worried and he says that is gonna be too late if I keep doing the same thing. And I've shown improvement because I used to do nothing on my own. I'm writing this believing that this is gonna help me improve in some way. Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions.

How do you find a lifelong career that you will love and be passionate about?

I'm still young, in my early twenties asking for advice or helpful insight on finding the right path for me. I'm currently enrolled in a Jobcorps Center and am pursuing Pharmacy technician and or other trade work training. I have several small interests that I enjoy but none that I feel confident building into a lifelong career. I graduated from high school during the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, and I feel it's stunted my growth into a career. I'm interested in STEM, Language studies, Anatomy Physiology, forensics, Physical fitness, Chemistry, Woodworking, and Medicine. I'm artistic and investigative and wish to do a career that I find challenging and rewarding. I've traveled to Europe, Studied French in southern France, and interned as a sales associate in Ireland with a Designer Exchange Company; all of which were wonderful experiences but I'm unsure how to turn them into a career for my future. So how do I narrow down my interests into a career I will find fulfilling in my later life?

Is a Fitness Coordinator basically a Physical Therapy equivalent without a Doctorate Degree?

I have been sold on Physical Therapy for a while now, but recently I have begun struggling with the idea of going to Medical School and all of the debt and excessive studying that entails. I took a career quiz and it recommended Fitness Coordinator rather than Physical Therapy. I love studying the human anatomy, working out, and helping others learn about their body, how it functions, and how to strengthen and enhance their performance. Would a Fitness Coordinator be the same thing as Physical Therapy, just without going to Medical School and getting a Doctorate? Also, what is the job satisfaction like for a Fitness Coordinator? What about the hours? work load? salary? work environment?

Is having athletic training experience helpful if I was interested in going into Physical Theraphy?

I will be starting college in the fall and pursuing an athletic training degree. When I graduate I will be a certified athletic trainer. I also have the option to go into Physical Therapy post-grad. I am wondering if it would be good to get some experience with my athletic training degree before going into PT school. Would there be a benefit to have some AT experience before going into PT school? #healthcare #physical-therapist #athletic-training #physical-trainer #physical-fitness

Can I start my own fitness business?

I love running, being physically active, health , and nutrition . I also work really well with others and I want to start a business. I'm from Los Angeles and I want to have my own gym with a health center where families can learn about nutrition and stay fit. Does this goal sound realistic for someone like me? What will it take for me to actually make this happen? What are some internships that can help me get a head start or a better understanding of the fitness and business industry ? #business #health #entrepreneurship #entrepreneur #nutrition #physical-fitness
