Is the course load in college similar to the course load in AP classes?

Is there a similar quantity of work? Are the classes around the same difficulty?

I'm sure it depends on the college! I recommend asking current students who attend the colleges you're interested in attending about the specific workload and courses at that college. My personal experience is that the classes in college (especially in STEM) are much more challenging and interesting than the AP courses I took in high school. As I moved further along in my major, the more advanced classes I took had a high workload but were graded a bit easier than the introductory classes.

I would say that if you are taking AP classes and doing well in them now, you definitely have the ability to adjust to a college workload.
