Being a great student is different for everyone, but here are some characteristics that can help you be great.

1. Be relentlessly curious - about everything you are learning, dig into the subject, ask questions, research information you are given, find other view points, or supporting information, become a lifetime learner.
2. Share what you learn with others, with your teacher, peers, post information.
3. Take your education seriously - study, participate and complete your assignments.
4. Seek help - if you don't understand or need some extra practice, ask for help from your teacher

I'm not quite sure what this question is asking but I think if you decide how you want to FEEL, and what being a great student means to YOU, then that is all that matters. Decide what you believe would make you a great student by deciding what will make you happy. Because if your'e not happy, what's the point of meeting someone else's expectations?
