Ask a teacher in a class you have done well in. A teacher which will take writing a recommendation letter seriously. Make sure you ask multiple teachers so you have several to choose from. Good luck.

Talk to a teacher that you respect. One that you connected with and/or who inspired you. Make sure you tell them why you need their letter, why them specifically, and give them time to write one. (Asking at the last minute from a teacher who barely knows you will probably not turn out well.)

Remember to thank the teacher and to keep them updated on what you accomplished with their support.

Teachers like to share great positive stories about students they taught!
