Why consider a job or career in AI technology?
Should I consider a career in technology, with a focus in AI data or is the advent of AI in and of itself make this concept irrelevant?

I would say that the advent of AI does not make the jobs irrelevant but more important in some cases. It is a rising field where many different industries and jobs need more AI to solve problems. If you want to focus on AI data there are many different jobs that pay well which include Machine Learning Engineer, AI Research Scientist, Data Engineer, Data Scientist and AI Architect for example. You should definitely consider this field and ultimately it is up to you whether this is worth it for your life. Hope this advice helps and best of luck to you in your future!
