What is the hardest part about being a freshman in college?

I am a Senior in high school wanting to pursue Speech Language Pathology. I grew up homeschooled and have taken early college classes. I want the college experience and am curious what it is like.

If you are organized and diligent about prioritizing projects, and papers that are due, you will be fine. There is a large amount of freedom that comes with college and it can be easy to get caught off guard. It should also be a time of fun and exploration.

If you can connect with others in your classes and form study groups, that will make your life much easier for sure.

HI -- it sounds like you are already doing a great job with taking early college classes! My biggest challenge my first year was time management -- between school, work and sports. I balanced it all with setting boundaries with my free time, understanding the time commitments required for each and taking time to slow down and enjoy. Best of luck and have fun!
