How do you overcome the challenges you have mentally while in college? What coping mechanisms do you use and what you reccommend to others who suffer from mental health issues?
I make sure to put myself first, your mental comes first even it means taking an off day to yourself, and indulging in your favorite food or watching a show to make you laugh. My best reccommendation to others would be to definitely taking breaks when needed, keep up with your health, and make yourself a priority but don't fall short behind on work as well.

Hi Kyla,
That's good advice. Make sure you have a good social life and a supportive group of friends. Make time for exercise and develop healthy eating habits.
Also, make use of the services you have on campus. Every school has a medical center and psychological counseling services. Take advantage of it. If you have a diagnosis that would entitle you to accommodations, make use of them. If you need to be on medication, make sure to take them.
I hope this helps! All the best to you!
