I am not familiar with the Yuma area. However, there are several online degrees and courses available for both digital and analog photography. If you really want to learn photography in person, you can check online for Continuing Education classes at your local community colleges (also a cheaper option). YouTube has many video tutorials that walk you through various aspects of photography. I would highly recommend these channels:

B&H Photo Video
PHlearn (Photoshop)
Ilford (paper types and darkroom)
Ribsy (types of film)

This is the main college in Yuma
Offers art, media, and digital courses where you can learn photography basics
Good for starting (2-year degree / transfer program)
You can later transfer to a bigger university for advanced photography

Sophia, the best school of photography is actually yourself. Invest in a digital camera and take lots of pictures. To be a good photographer you must master the composition of framing. Practice that! If you are planning to stay in Yuma, check the colleges for Photography Classes. Even , check the local newspaper paper. Start creating your digital pro folio.
