Can I still be a Marine Biologist if I am bad at math?

I am in a Junior in Highschool and I am looking into going into Marine Biology, but I have an issue. Math is very hard for me, and I know it is a significant part of this job. How would I still be able to become a Marine biologist, or does anyone know of any similar fields I could go into, where I could still do things that I love. I have a big passion for the ocean and sea life. I also live in a land enclosed state, so what are some good college options? I am also underage for the volunteering opportunities at different aquariums.

Of course you can! Fish aren't good at math! You can just make numbers up and they won't know the difference!

Kidding aside. You absolutely can. You will use math but this is area of work, but it won't be too math heavy. Keep practicing math but don't worry that math will be a disqualifying subject. Later in life when you have some time you will likely revisit math and find your best way to learn in a professional environment rather than an academic environment.

I saw you were trying to volunteer!? This is the absolute right mindset to have! Keep pushing because you will be able to make your goals, you have the right mindset already!
