For people who have done double-majors (preferably in unrelated degrees), what was it like ?

Were you stuck studying in your room most of the time? Did you have time for other hobbies or jobs? What did you schedule look like? What advice to you have about double majoring?

Double majors are manageable, but only if you stay organized.

You won’t be stuck studying all the time, but your schedule will be tighter than others, so free time has to be planned. You can still have hobbies or even a part-time job, but you’ll likely need to limit them and stay disciplined.

The key is staying consistent and not falling behind, choosing majors that make sense together, and planning your semesters early instead of figuring things out as you go. It’s not about being extra smart; it’s about managing your time well and having a clear reason for doing it.
