This is a good question and you should ask it of your coach who knows your strengths and weaknesses. I can only tell you to improve the areas you are weakest in but your coach can tell you exactly what they are. I would also ask if he has any knowledge of camps run by colleges or pro teams that would help you gain attention. Most coaches do have this knowledge. Good luck! I grew up watching football games. It's a great sport that can teach you many life lessons if you stay humble and willing to learn.

Hi Joshua! I went through the recruiting process in high school and was fortunate enough to play football collegiately. There are several important steps in the recruiting process that I'd like to share with you. First, you need to build a highlight reel from your most recent football season. Once you have that, start posting it on X (formerly Twitter) because college coaches use this platform extensively to identify prospects. Since college coaches are extremely busy, it's crucial to put your absolute best plays at the beginning of your highlight reel to immediately capture their attention. Start following coaches on X and send them direct messages that include your highlight reel along with a brief bio about yourself—your name, where you're from, your GPA (which is very important in the recruiting process), and what makes you stand out from other recruits. Next, you should research colleges you're interested in and attend their summer football camps. This gives coaches the opportunity to see your name, face, and skills in person. Between sending highlight reels with your bio and attending college football camps, these are the most critical steps to advancing to the next level.
