I want to be a Marine Biologist. Any thoughts or personal opinions?

I feel like this would be a great job with good pay. Any ideas on colleges or job professions? I go to a Verizon Innovated Learning S.T.E.M. Camp. This camp has been very helpful on teaching me new things and giving me a realization of what I want to be.

To be honest as someone who also thought I wanted to be a marine biologist, after doing much research I quickly learned that jobs in the field are limited which makes positions super competitive (especially a decent paying one). A MB with only a bachelor degree typically starts out making between $16,000-25,000/yr. For higher paying jobs and more opportunities a Masters degree is required. Some universities allow you to do both bachelors and masters simultaneously to get done faster.
