Can you become a successful photographer and a psychologist major at the same time?

I would want to major in Psychology, but my dream job is to become a photographer so I can travel the world and venture out to new cultures and environments. #shehastodreambig!

Grant’s Answer

Imagine pursuing both through college, practicing your passion for photography while also studying hard for your degree in psychology... then imagine you are in your last year and you are starting your senior thesis... could you bring the two together? What impact does photography have on psychology? Think Instagram... do filters make you feel different? What are people drawn to in photos? Why do they engage with some and not with others? There is a thesis in there... I would be willing to bet you! Then who knows, maybe you will one of the firsts to bring these two passions together and create your own path... you said dream big... dont be afraid to!!

Grant recommends the following next steps:

Think about how the two fields interact and ask yourself can you create your own path!
Keep dreaming big!
