Being from Michigan, we have a ton of public universities that offer sports medicine programs. The two that come to mind for this question are Michigan State and Grand Valley State University. I hope this helps!

Nakiyah that is a great question. I attended Middles Tennessee State University (MTSU) and majored in Sports Medicine with a minor in Education. The athletic department has the basic teams (Football, soccer, baseball/softball, tennis, track.) I would recommend a school that has a vast variety in it's athletic department. This will give you more hands-on experience with different sport related injuries and how to treat them. In your field studies and admission to the sports medicine program (after passing the basics) you will be working with each sport.
