I usually use the excel for analyze everything in my work routine. I recomend you training it a lot. Because, it ´s fundamental tool to justify and conclude scenary, mainly if you work with supply chain and strategic areas.

Also, I have used SAP, Oracle, BCPS, Drummer, I2 Demand and others.

Excel is the most important of my point of view, they could support you for all works, allows you to make logical comparisons between a value and what you expect.
