I enjoy what I do so there's no stress for me during this time. While I do enjoy what I do, I have had jobs in this field that did stress me out because going into work no longer brought me joy or satisfaction. I graduated my apprentice in 2005 and have been working as a journeyman electrician for 15yrs. I love where I am in my career but i'm always open for more experience and training to become better. My long term desire is to supervise a maintenance team so i'm always looking for advancement opportunities.

It's always best to go work for a contractor for a year or two before deciding if you like it or not. Some people hate it and some people like it.
