Jan’s Answer

I chose veterinary medicine because I love helping animals and people who love animals. I actually became a Veterinary behaviorist. That's a veterinarian who works with animals who have behavioral problems and disorders. It was a long road to get there because I had to have a lot of experience and I had to have good grades it was very competitive to get into veterinary school and it was challenging to graduate, but it was in my opinion well worth it.

Amanda’s Answer

I chose Anatomic pathology because I also like research and understanding the mechanisms behind how things work. I also like the quality of life - no emergency hours, can work from home, no crazy clients to deal with, good pay.
