What is day to day basis of a sociologists ?

Sociologists are researchers, so their days are focused on conducting research, which may include gathering data, analyzing data, writing up results, reading academic articles, and exchanging ideas with colleagues. Sociologists gather data in different ways - some go into the field and conduct interviews and surveys, others use existing datasets. Analyzing data could include going through interview notes to identify patterns, or use statistical methods and software to make sense of large amounts of information.
