They would also help to develop branding or promotional items that would be appealing to that audience in order to drive consumer interest and increase sales.

More and more companies are developing sustainability practices, and seeking students with a demonstrated passion for social responsibility and sustainability; I'd encourage you to volunteer in the community with organizations that align with your passions, and try to obtain an internship/job that somehow relates to your long term goals. A great way to do this is to reach out to people over LinkedIn or in other groups that you may be affiliated with to try to obtain an informational interview; the more questions you ask now, the more you'll understand what types of jobs exist that align with your true passions!
