Stephen’s Answer

I used to flip houses and sometimes could make up to $75,000 on a flip. On other houses, I ran into unexpected problems and didn't make much money at all. The key is to buy the property at the right price, have really good contractors that you trust and understand the buyers and what they want in the market. Try to start slow with homes that need minor repairs. You won't make as much but you will learn a lot which will grow your confidence. You also have to believe in yourself and be able to handle adversity as unforeseen challenges pop up. I would also suggest that you find a mentor and partner with him/her for the first few flips. When you gain more experience, it's really rewarding and satisfying to see the end result of a remodeled home and turn over the keys to a new homeowner while you get a nice check for your hard work. Good luck.

Emerson’s Answer

My dad is a general contractor, soI have some basic knowledge, but this would really depend  on the region your are from. But in California a base point would be around 40K-60K If you are able to stay busy all year round, this is a good point to refer to. This actually also ties up, to the quality of work , you're going to be providing to your customers, and how long you been in that field.

Hope this helped 👍
