Jayna’s Answer

A career in archaeology is a great idea. Depending on what you want your career to look like you may need to earn a degree from a university offering archaeology degree programs.

According to sources, a typical archaeology degree program may include a joint degree with anthropology, art history, or the humanities. Some of the core modules in a standard archaeology curriculum may include courses such as Archaeology Method, Prehistoric archaeology, History of archaeological thought, Archaeological skills, Human osteology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Archaeological methods and research design, as well as courses on specific periods or epochs in ancient history related to geographic areas.
