Good office administrators are organized and able to multi-task efficiently. Often they will have to deal with urgent issues that require quick problem-solving skills. As an office administrator, you will interact with almost all employees so being able to shift your communication style and build relationships with various types of people is important.

A good office administrator is: very organized, efficient at tasks (including calendars, meeting minutes, and other technologies), great at organizing events that bring employees together, and a master at prioritization. A friendly disposition helps too :)
