Joanne’s Answer

It depends on the position or field.

You can be in sales rep, engineering, quality, data analysis, production or supply chain management. For each, there is a different salary range.

For example ~
Production: $9-20/hour (depending on years of experience)
Automotive Engineer: Around $50K to $110K (depending on experience, degree, and certifications)

If you have a specific position in mind you can check salary on Glassdoor.

Robbie’s Answer

Joanne gave a good answer, because yes it does depend on the position you're referring to. In case you're referring to auto sales again it depends on the size and location of the dealership, but starting out may be a bit tough as you'll really need to build up a quality base of customers before it becomes easier to manager and make money. If you know the products well, have good customer service and become good at listening to the customers needs and wants, are motivated and hustle every day you can do well and make a good living.

Robbie recommends the following next steps:

If interested in Sales, I'd suggest simply going to a local dealership and asking to speak to a sales rep or manager.
