To be interviewed for this job or any other job, confidence is a key factor to pass. Before the interview, read and understand the job requirements. Then prepare yourself ahead of time by refreshing your knowledge about the topics in the requirements.
Thank you comment icon This is great advice! Properly preparing for an interview can make a huge difference in the outcome. Do you have any suggestions for websites/resources interviewees can use to prepare? Gurpreet Lally, Admin

Jennifer’s Answer

All of the above answers are sound advices. I would also add that you need to dress appropriately, no jeans, short short skirts or cropped tops. Also get there on time.

Jennifer recommends the following next steps:

Make eye contacts and smile
It’s ok to be nervous
If you don’t know something, just say so
Do not badmouth your previous employer

Lakshmi’s Answer

An interview is usually the employer trying to understand what you bring with you to add to the organization.
They will usually have a set of questions for all candidates.
Who you are, what is your knowledge base, what are your strengths, what is your weakness, how will you and your experience make their organization better.

Lakshmi recommends the following next steps:

Dress formal, clean and sharp
Be confident
Make a list of positive projects you have accomplished
Make a list of positive experience and your role in the effort
Be confident, keep eye contact and listen to the committee. Answer accordingly with focus.
