I would agree with Jeff, the automotive industry is constantly growing and you wouldn't be hard pressed to find a career in that field. No matter what you choose to do don't let anyone talk you out of your dream. Be sure to apply yourself to your studies and you will go far in whatever you choose to do. Choose the platfor you would like to work on (i.e) Diesel, gas, marine, etc. Continue in your career and as long as you continue to love what you do you will never work a day in your life.

Hi Genevieve, that is a great question. Is it worth it to you to be a part of a professional community of automotive technicians that can go virtually anywhere and command top wages related to the trades. Automotive technicians make great $$ as long as they apply themselves which is the same as any worthy profession. You have to apply yourself and put in the time but in the end you will have a very rewarding career. Go for it!! Best of luck my friend
