My niece is an Audiologist. She has been practicing for a few years and loves her job. She specifically helps patients who need cochlear implants - a very rewarding job that tends to involve children and often gives very young children the ability to hear for the first time. This is a challenging and exciting career path as the technology for hearing assistance is developing rapidly.
