Sneha’s Answer

You dont have to worry about the future. Just keep working towards your future to have a brighter one but unexpected events happen and opportunities open up as well. Keep learning and building on to your skillsets, keep talking to alumni, college advisors, professional organization mentors to learn more about life after college, keep on top of job searches to identify what interests you the most, what motivates you the most. Doing this would help ease your anxiety and will set you on a path for the future.

Allison’s Answer

Natalia, don't worry too much about the future because you never know what unexpected events life may throw your way. Without knowing too much about your story, I would suggest that you instead, focus on what you can do now to be best prepared for life after college or the job market upon graduation. Utilize your career services center on campus, conduct informational interviews with professionals, and start applying for internships. The more relevant work experience you can get during college, the more marketable you will be when you start the job hunt. Trust me, I wish I took advantage of all the opportunities outside of my classes! Utilize LinkedIn and start expanding your network by meeting industry professionals and attending networking events. All of these contacts will be helpful for you as you move throughout your career. Best of luck!
