Caryn’s Answer

The hardest part of working In the medical field Is learning to deal with your own feelings of sadness or injustice, when not being able to help someone as much as you would like, and finding a way forward to both provide the best care you can and maintain enough emotional balance so you can continue to be effective. This may be something to prepare for if you decide to go into direct patient care. On the other hand there are so many times when you’ll feel great joy in seeing that the care you provided Really mattered! .

Farhaad’s Answer

In my opinion, the hardest part is balancing your time between helping patients and giving time to your family. You only have so much time in life and you have to choose wisely how you allocate it.

Blake’s Answer

In my opinion, the hardest part is that you won't be able to save everyone. You will see people in pain more times than not.

i would say work life balance- depending on what area you select, the work doesn't end. it can be hard to turn off the work part without feeling like you left someone hanging or feeling like you could have/should have done more.
