Do you really need 11 years of school to become a pediatrician ?

Hi I'm a freshmen in high school and I really want to become a pediatrician,But I don't want to spend a lot of time in school is there any way to have less years #pediatrician

Yes and no. It all depends on you. Normally it would take such time, however, it won't if you try to go though university faster. The 11 years are 4 years of pre-med, 4 years of med, and 3 years of residency. If you start with pre-med from high school you would lose one to two years of your way. Moreover, you could shorten the time even more by taking some summer classes. So, it all depends on you.
